When buying a home there are many things to consider if financing is involved. First up how much can I afford? What is my credit score?The first step to buying a home would be to meet with a lender and get pre-approved for a loan. A pre-approval letter from a reputable lender will be necessary in order to schedule a showing to view a property for sale. Getting pre-approved gives insight on how much a buyer can afford and how much a lender is willing to lend. Depending on what type of mortagage a buyer qualifies for will determine how much of a downpayment a buyer will have to bring to closing day.

Buyers are looking for a home that they can actually invision their family living in. In order for this to happen your home must show well. There should be good lighting through out your home. The rooms should be clear of clutter, offensive odors, pet hair, dust, spider webs, etc.. The walls in the home should be nicely painted clear of any cracks chipped paint, crayon writing. If your home has carpet, it should be clear of stains, and dirt. Carpet should be vacumed with no signs of wear & tear. Removal of all carpet in bathrooms is highly recommended.
